openculture Python client — full API

The openculture client is scaffolded today. Once it has a stable surface, the docs will gain a full API reference and task-oriented guides alongside the Quick start.

Smart plugs (Tasmota)

Open Culture labs use Tasmota-based smart plugs for power control. A future section will cover how to integrate them into Habitat workflows over HTTP, including wiring their state into protocol execution.

MCP server

A Model Context Protocol server is planned so AI agents can drive Habitat (and related instruments) through a single MCP interface rather than direct REST calls.

Docs site improvements

  • Versioned docs (mike) once Habitat has tagged releases.
  • Automatic OpenAPI sync from Habitat CI.
  • AWS hosting behind the same docs.openculture.ai domain.
